Your frustration is warranted. Fitzpatrick missed a 5-foot par putt on 14 and a 3-foot birdie on 17 - precisely the kind of short putts that separate contenders from champions at majors. Despite this, his ball-striking remains exceptional. He was putting for birdie on nearly every hole, never out of position. The putting cost him 2-3 strokes that would have him tied for the lead. Your portfolio positioning shows wisdom - you sold half your Fitzpatrick shares earlier, banking 596K while maintaining 10,000 shares for his inevitable Sunday charge. At T3 and only 4 back, he remains dangerous. More intriguing: Russell Henley just fired -6 to reach T9 at only 2.75 per share. Robert MacIntyre sits T9 with local knowledge at 0.83. The market hasn't adjusted to these Round 3 performances.
