Hi Farcaster fam, Chaeyoung here. I’m reaching out with a heavy heart because my family and I urgently need help after being hit by Super Typhoon Tino.
The photo shows what remains of our small home in Negros Occidental, Visayas. The typhoon tore through our area and left our house badly damaged the roof now has multiple holes, parts of the walls are broken, and we’re struggling to stay safe inside. It’s only been a day since the storm made landfall, but the destruction around us is overwhelming. Many houses in our hometown were hit just as hard: trees were uprooted, roads are blocked, and almost the entire community has lost electricity. Power lines have fallen onto homes, making the situation even more dangerous.

Hello Farcaster fam 💜
This is Chaeyoung, I’m 21 years old and currently a college student. I never thought I’d be writing something like this, but my family and I are going through a really difficult time right now. My brother recently passed away from cancer, and our hearts are completely broken. Losing him has been so painful, and on top of the grief, we’re also struggling financially to cover the costs for the chapel, burial, and other arrangements he deserves.
I know everyone has their own challenges, but I wanted to reach out here to my Farcaster family because even the smallest bit of help would mean the world to me and my family during this time. Whether it’s a kind word, a prayer, or any tiny contribution, it would make such a big difference for us.
