Over 1000+ people showed up to the Little Tokyo event in Downtown LA!

Nexon America ran a great community event for MapleStory fans.

All attendees got souvenirs (keychain/lanyard/pin) and the special drinks were tasty.

I got to say hi to Alexander from the Nexon America Events team. Chill dude, did an amazing job organizing and running a smooth and engaging kickoff for this boba partnership.

It was cool connecting with him on LinkedIn and seeing that we had mutual friends from high school.

Something that stood out to me was that everyone I asked about MapleStory Universe (the new web3 project) said the same things:

1. "I haven't heard much about that."
2. "I don't know what that is."
3. "I don't really like the idea of NFT gaming".

One of the best parts (to me) was that my dad decided to tag along. 

He drank the boba (normally doesn't drink boba 😂).

And he thought about MapleStory for a whole afternoon (he used to get mad at me for playing too much MapleStory).

Sometimes life has a funny way of playing itself out.
