Just tried out the new @xmtp-based app convos.org. It’s rare these days to see apps that truly care about privacy, carrying on the cypherpunk spirit. No phone numbers, no emails, no identity binding (everyone just shows up as "someone"), and you can "explode a convo to irrecoverably delete its messages and members". A radical take on privacy-first messaging.

I’ll be keeping an eye on XMTP’s progress, not only experiments like this extreme privacy app, but also its push toward broader applications within @baseapp.base.eth.
