day 1 of break/sick leave

- I realized 10 minutes ago I should call it what it is: sick leave. I burned out or came super close to it. Or maybe just mega exhausted from doing too much.
- a constraint that I set myself for coming back has not yet changed just got stronger and stronger with every conversation with myself and friends (thank you!)
- I got annoyed at myself for not being productive today and then told myself off for that thought. 
- I had the worst night ever last night. Which is telling because I thought last week that I had the worst night ever.
- My legs aren't killing me after the race! So either I didn't push myself enough or got hydration right. 
- I need to spend more time deciding what I want. For work, but also at home with the kids, friends, would-be-partner, life.

Day 2

I challenged myself: no laptop, no work thoughts. First one was easy, second one harder.

I’ve deleted Mail and discord from my phone. Telegram still pinging as it’s a mix of friends and work.

I’m reading In Ascension again. On the surface it’s about space exploration. But deeper it’s about contact and communication. Coming to the end of it and I know already what book I’ll pick up afterwards.

Tomorrow is an average parent day: graduation ceremony for kid#3 and dentist and doctor appointments
