succession

Just watched Mountainhead, the latest from the creators of Succession (my favorite show of the past few years). 


It was too over the top and not funny enough. I get what they were trying to say, but used too blunt of an object (compared to Succession which was so much more surgical in getting messages across)

It’s been reported that they did things like listen to All-In (one of the characters is def Jason and there is a scene where they give everyone a speech ala “Sultan of Science”).

Then there is some interesting commentary on what happens to billionaires when they’re past their prime, but otherwise just created a universe that was a bit far fetched for me.

Or maybe I’m being naive to the actual world of tech billionaires? You should probably watch it, just to see what you think though. Some people do seem to like it
