i also had intense experience in tradfi in the office 6am - 8pm (unless i had to go to a client dinner) and then back to work until midnight most days didnt get any daily perks (no free snacks or massages or beautiful office lounges, but if we worked past 9pm we could expense our uber home) but the manager didn’t call me stupid for not knowing expert level stufff instead my managing directors engaged with me, gave me challenging opportunities that i couldve failed but thankfully executed on, and invited me to meetings or experiences i wouldnt otherwise be at it’s often not the industry but the people who shape your experience
