I've long wished for a channel on Farcaster that focuses on discussing gift economics and culture in depth. Once in awhile I see a cast that briefly mentions a writer who covers gift culture (Lewis Hyde, Charles Eisenstein, Robin Wall Kimmerer, etc.), but I want to see some deep-dive discussions. Today I almost created a gift economics channel myself. If I'd had enough warps, I would've done so. But channels are still in limbo and I think warps are being phased out too, so maybe it's best for me to hold off until there's more clarity about the future of channels. If someone else starts such a channel, though, do keep me in mind as a potential contributor.

i’ll start it for you and transfer ownership. i still think it’s worthwhile to create spaces where you feel encouraged to put thoughts about specific topics :) the more intentional thinking we put out there, the better. let me know xo

Hi @ted ... after our last convo in DCs I sent you a couple of follow-ups and I imagine they just got buried in the shuffle, so I'm tagging you in this thread. I'm excited to get the gift economics channel started (I've already got moderators lined up!) but I can't actually make any changes until you transfer ownership to me. You made me a member, but I'm still not the channel owner. Could you make that change when you get a chance? TYSM!
