learning about permaculture (managing land in a way that is self-sustaining): “Facebook is a great resource for plants. I asked for 3 of something and get offered 20. Nature people love sharing and Facebook groups are incredible starting point to exchange value, both knowledge and actual seeds, plants, etc.”

side note: evokes visceral feelings of longing and appreciation for my dad, the green thumb botanist in our family who is happiest in the garden. miss you dad if you happen to see this.
