love this, it's so fair and balanced, this is why i don't identify with most traditional leftist ideologies - just like capitalism "looks good on paper" but sucks hard in practice and late stage power dynamics, there's been significant failures in the implementation of socialist power structures that are too widespread to just ignore. marxist promises of equality and fairness are great but from what we've seen, even modern "success stories" like china and vietnam still struggle with rampant inequality and corruption, and wind up looking entirely too much like their capitalist counterparts. we need new power structures, we need new governance, we need new tools for coordination, blockchain is the only path forward

i have a couple reasons why not! i do like the coordination and effort around it, but here's some gentle honest feedback - 1) i really only hold eth and btc. trusting a 3rd asset with $1k+ is a roadblock for me. id wanna audit the contract, haven't made time yet. same with gnosis - i don't use it (who does?), don't trust it. im more likely to donate 1k outright than adopt a new asset on a new chain. 2) the model (1 financial token, staked to fund the dao) is a great novel iteration, but feels more like a charity-fundraiser-under-capitalism than a disruptive mechanism, which is fine i guess but not exciting 3) had to mute all tags from your discord, tags got abused almost daily, especially @backend, which means i never see updates unless i checkin anymore, which i don't because im in 10+ other discords that i also had to mute i do like you guys and what you do, and i am considering a donation fwiw, but that's what's stopping me from getting more behind it at the moment
