If coin buying is a social activity and it’s the primary use case for a blockchain today, do blockchains become less used if private?

Chasing Curiosity. People, Nature, Machines. Hakuna Matata, "Its a problem-free philosophy.”

This is not what my group does. We buy, hold and complain about jeets, talk about the chart and share knowledge around LPing and what configurations are generating good fees.

So is this the playbook:

- group chat insiders buy early from anon wallets 
- once all in buy a lil more from known wallets
- interface notifs spark the fervor 
- dump anon wallets
- keep mouth shut
- repeat 

Old as time

a lot of the social value is still the groupchats where you talk about these things and have comraderie, not the onchain performance art part. In my tightest group everyone uses anon wallet and I don't know what they are, so its effectively private.

I think a lot changes if blockchains become private, so many consumer use cases are predicated on the whole open data thing
