If I were to launch a Clanker as a pure meme and all those bros slide into my DMs who are like "Dev are you still working on this?" ... what do they actually want to see me do?

Unfortunately quite metaphorical to public markets. 

There is just much more of a professional demeanor, and acceptance that it will move best through business action (though marketing the stock is a component) but the incentives are the same.
