It’ll be a fusion. And unclear which comes out on top. Stables put more wallets in the hands of people, but banks won’t go without a fight and will at least use their political capital to own “crypto”.

I agree but don’t think it’s zero sum Real crypto (ETH) getting stronger is going to play out whenever credible neutrality is needed. The centralized stables won’t be able to compete on that element (which is fine!)
