I don’t get how mobbin works?

Does it pay the curated apps? Or is it legal to screenshot different apps and sell the access to those screenshots? 

Someone enlighten me

oh, strange this doesn’t feel intuitive to me for some reason

i believe another hard task is keeping those screens up to date / tracking new versions?

yes you can just take screenshots and gate access to the full library. no one making those apps gets paid. 

i had a product exactly like this in 2017 with @chmielwork but taking screenshots for all these apps ended up being a fulltime job for at least 4 people so we abandoned it

can’t wrap my head around how finer the line is for “repackaging third-party and selling” 

gotta upgrade my mental model perhaps

They surely don’t, would you pay to any website you took a screenshot of and then used as inspiration/or pure copying?

They’re not even a US company and those pics are all on the surface, they just save your time looking for them yourself
