a lot of people would over complicate it by adding stuff to verify completion of tasks think of it as a simple todo list like app where you just setup a challenge with friend, then if completed mark as complete or your friend can mark as incomplete and you loose/get back funds

You see friends — most people just see “speculation.” The idea is really cool and would work great; I often make friendly bets with a friend myself. The issue comes when people want to challenge strangers to make money — and that’s where the need for verification comes in.

@tancro @irfan you're guys talking about the former project mochi.world they started as an accountability between friends program, the idea was that if you didnt reported on a 24 timestamp about your daily setup goal on your team Ex: to write a cast everyday and provide a link with the cast after some time they got an OPTIMISM grant and they started rewarding the reports with up to 4OP a day and it became a powerfull marketing tool i learned to use AI getting paid on that platform, one of the task was a daily prompt-to-img and that's how i got my spam label about a year and more due the shitty libraries they had for the prompt-to-img xD but it was the only income i had in that moment
