Maybe I'm wrong (unlikely), but people who launch coins that are identical to others on the same chain are akin to grifters and scammers. 

Their intention is to earn fees from confused buyers.  The only reason they're creating this coin is so they can profit from others' success. 

If you're someone who's doing this, stop it.

Absolutely agree with you — and I’ll go even further: we should stop creating new tokens for a while, or at least avoid launching pointless stuff.
