scene: you’re not happy with your home, the space, the size, whatever. It isn’t working, you want to reno. you approach a new design startup and they say: rather than major changes to your space ($$$) you’d be better served optimizing friction points and aligning your behavior to fit. what’s your response?

fair. what if.. you’re frustrated with your space, etc and you run across an app that promises to improve it by helping you pinpoint friction points and address them as micro, definable, containable projects — some of this “may” include behavioral alignment. You dig deeper, they have good reviews, people seem to enjoy it, in some ways it reminds you of duolingo. Plus, if you’re being honest with yourself, the uncertainty around time/money/effort req to engage an architect/contractor is beyond what you can commit to rn - do you even know any architects? full disclosure: chat told me the better answer to renovations is behavioral change and I’m giving it a fair shake 😂
