Not seeing much on the internet about why Circle might be looking to sell instead of going public. Could be a reason as simple as the share price determined by bankers are just too low or could be around being a public company (increased reporting requirements) that make it hard for them to operate.

Prob not a defendable moat with regulatory clarity. So valued less than they’d like. Which means they also agree moat is not defendable and want to sell high.
