Incredibly though provoking article from @mazmhussain about the fleeting nature of global liberalism over the past 80 years. Using lessons from Turkey, China and India, he argues that liberalism is a relative flash-in-the-pan just like communism; the more natural state of politics over history being nationalism. Interesting to consider this framework when making near term decisions (digital nomadism vs. stationary life) and also long term decisions (what type of nationalism do you choose if you can choose anywhere in the world right now?) https://mazmhussain.substack.com/p/climbing-off-the-tiger
