How are we testing miniapps locally?

I tried using ngrok with the miniapp preview tool but the preview app stays on a blank screen. Is that normal?

Two things learnt recently: Patience, as the MiniApps caches may take time to refresh. And the manifest needs to point the `homeUrl` to the “right” place, where the frame SDK will run “ready”.

Working fine here on free Ngrok. Configuration of the manifest was the key, and took a few trials.

Oof hopefully the FC team can fix this so devs don't need to pay ngrok just to test miniapps

I had to pay for the first tier of ngrok to get it to work, the free tier wasn’t working for me and giving a white screen too
