For a while skateboarding occupation was seen with bad eyes. But the truth is when skateboarders occupy inhabited places it brings more life to it and it becomes a safer place.

I wonder if we can get any data together on this. Colfax Ave in Denver Co has always had a reputation for being unsafe due to crime. I work with small business owners, and with the community to try and improve the conditions because.... well , 1312, its on us to get it done. 

I think encouraging skating in the area could be a good way to help push out the crime. If we can get some sort of statistical proof together I think a "Colfax Skate" initiative makes a great way to get Denver fully onboarded to @gnars
