It’s a good “marketing” response, but:

What % of raycast queries are shortcuts, quick keys, clipboard history?

What % of future customers care about these additional features?

What happens when computer use is good enough in macOS or from a frontier lab like OpenAI?

They’ve raised a bunch of VC money. The only thing that matters now is growth. See also Browser Company.

So @Apple added Shortcuts, Quick Keys, Clipboard History and a Menu Item search to Spotlight?

What about:
• Uninstall apps completely
• Search and download GIFs and emojis
• Search @figma files
• Search the web with AI context
• Do math, unit conversion, and date

im a loyal-ish use of Raycast but i will be honest, i don't use 99% of the features listed here. 

The sole reason i use it for basic things that the current Spotlight sucks at. If that is fixed as shown on the MacOS update today during WWDC, i would likely drop Raycast. Often times, native apps just have a significantly better UX.
