It’s a good “marketing” response, but: What % of raycast queries are shortcuts, quick keys, clipboard history? What % of future customers care about these additional features? What happens when computer use is good enough in macOS or from a frontier lab like OpenAI? They’ve raised a bunch of VC money. The only thing that matters now is growth. while i use raycast, I’d venture 90% of Mac users don’t care about more than 3 items on this list

Power features are great for early traction, but long-term success depends on how much value regular users get without tweaking settings or learning hotkeys

im a loyal-ish use of Raycast but i will be honest, i don't use 99% of the features listed here. The sole reason i use it for basic things that the current Spotlight sucks at. If that is fixed as shown on the MacOS update today during WWDC, i would likely drop Raycast. Often times, native apps just have a significantly better UX.

It feels like updates in the app reach me later than others. For example, I tried to subscribe in the very first seconds — I saw others getting it, but I didn’t even have the option available. I kept refreshing the app every minute, checked for updates in the App Store — nothing. As a result, I missed out on the $600 drop for the first 500 subscribers. I ended up being #700 on the list. The same thing happened with the NFT. Everyone is sharing theirs in the feed, but mine doesn’t show up in my collection — even though it’s on-chain. Could this be due to regional restrictions? And how should I act next time to avoid missing out again?

I launch apps and shortcuts. Maybe some niche feature like speed test if I ever remember I had them installed 😅
