You know what really grinds my gears? 

When people say “I want the…” or “Gimme a…” when placing their order at a restaurant 

The correct phrasing is, “May I please have..”

Correct, too many people treat fast food workers as if they aren't human and it might not even be consciously intended but it's how we've come to take these things for granted. 

Simply being polite and using manners can change a whole person mood especially in those work environments. (I know from experience) 😂
