Devconnect is my excuse to go to Buenos Aires. My goal is to see whether crypto is actually being used in the local economy. Does everyone else have this same goal? Some say it's proven to be a real-world use case of a place, while I've also read that no one really uses it.

GM, argentinian here 馃憢馃徎 it's not "massively adopted", the people that replied that are talking a very niche bubble. but it's true that you can find more crypto-related events than other argentinian cities. I recommend you follow @musicaw3, they'll be doing some very cool stuff in Devconnect.

That's been my understanding, too: that crypto has been touted as commonplace in the country, when in practice people aren't transacting in USDC as much as just plain old USD. Will definitely give them a follow!
