You're trying to schedule a call, and someone messages you "I'm available from 11am to 2pm" Are they available for a call that starts at 2pm? Yes or no? (Tried to make this a poll but it keeps giving an error)

I've been scheduling calls for as long as I can remember (well over 6years, in a top web3 marketing agency, and with over 50 different teams, spanning across these years). The point I'm trying to make is; if someone says they're available from x-y it means that y is inclusive as the start time for the call. So, yes - 2pm inclusive Except I've been doing it wrong and no one has ever complained all these years lol.

If someone said that is available until 2pm - why then this person is accepting a call from 2pm to 3pm đ

Technically, theyâre saying theyâre available to take the call from 2pm, anything beyond 2pm (depending on the duration of your call) it means theyâre not available to take a call. Also the statement didnât read âuntilâ 2pm, thatâs specific, the statement was Iâm available between 11am-2pm signifying the time slots the individual can take the call

I figured "until" was interchangeable with "to" in my statement. I also figure a dash indicates that 2pm is the end of my availability, not the last time that I'm available to take a call. If someone's gravestone reads "1949-2010", the dash doesn't indicate the person continued living after 2010

but Jan-Dec 2010 is still 2010 right? By this analogy then, it means that 2:00-2:59pm is still 2pm so technically, you can still pick a call between this timeframe
