It’s always goes back to people. What’s changed imo is the frequency. Even on my own repos I’ve had some PRs from students who are desperate to get into the industry and have contributions on their GitHub that they’ll use AI to one shot something and have no idea what’s actually going on in the code. it can generate this even with a good context, so you have to review before you create a PR. agents working fully autonomous are not ready yet, but guess what the guy just generalized and took one side of the spectrum 🤣
