New discovery! When using EVEE in /blender3d you can't add AO to the entire environment anymore. Instead, you will need to use Ray Tracing (which looks cooler, so all is good). But when using Cycles, you can't use Ray Tracing either. The workaround here is the shader system, check the video for details:
