Farcasterโs Potential Is Clear, But the Present Reality Canโt Be Ignored
At this stage, platforms like @X currently offer stronger earning opportunities compared to Farcaster. The monetization infrastructure is more mature, and despite all the excitement around decentralization and onchain social, the revenue stream on Farcaster remains limited, for now.
Yes, Farcaster is in its infancy. Thatโs a fact. But in a time where content and attention are being monetized across multiple platforms, very few want to stand idle. Knowing your edge matters, and chasing momentum without substance is a sure way to burn out.
