This satisfaction abstraction applies to so much more than air drops. It's more fun to think about things it doesn't apply to (or applies much less): Ice cream stands. It's hard to piss people off with Ice cream. Wineries... breweries... Yeh... Airdrop me a cold one and a scoop of jamocha almond fudge!

I’ve seen many airdrops and I think it was well executed, keep going!

For 2 years I made and handed out sandwiches at a homeless shelter 2x a week. Typically sandwiches were bare. Sometimes we’d add mayo. On mayo days, requests for extra mayo shot through the roof. Also, the likelihood of a sandwich being thrown at me went up 100x. Airdrop complainers remind me of this.

I feel super loved by yall. and I used the app with the intent to distribute super micro amounts of things I thought were cool or interesting…. Not really expecting that I would even be eligible for a drop. Nailed it!!, imho.

so true. best to expect nothing and be rewarded despite expectations. it makes the experience a lot more enjoyable rather than constant disappointment
