Having teenagers that can drive now makes up for every single diaper I ever changed 

What do I even do with all this extra time on my hands this summer?

Some advice the first time i went thru it: 

they will make all kinds of mistakes but it’s the only way to learn. Let it be. 

I like to tell my kids its not that they are good or bad drivers, they are just inexperienced

Teaching my daughter to drive is reminding me of something very important.

Words can only teach so much.
The only way to learn a new skill is through practice, practice, practice and lots of mistakes.

If you want people to grow, you have to let them fail.
