What makes an account "inauthentic"? We're considering a new labelling system for inauthentic accounts. These accounts, often incorrectly called bots, will be hidden from like counts and other metrics in Warpcast. Inauthentic accounts give real people the ick because they're clearly trying to get value for their account at the expense of everyone else on the network.

This. It would imporove the whole experience of online life, almost certainly encourage others to be candidly themselves (as much as third person casting allows). But Ick, being the subjective something, that metrics abhor, means setting standards for authenticity (something philosophers and angst ridden teens have debated for aeons) that risks precluding people who may just be shy, boring or not using their first language. Then surely the opposite shuttering effect kicks in. Not even bots want to be identified as bots.
