building games hits different than apps.

working on /farville made me realize that games are art more than software.

it’s all about feeling, experience, habit, and world-building.

the beauty of the walk and talk is how it forces you to slow down and gives you a moment to think

if this was a screenshot essay I would've skimmed it in 3.5s and moved on without really taking in other than simul-firing the design / game 
 / dopamine loop neurons in my head for a sec before moving on

instead I watched this beautiful man in hip sunglasses stroll on a beautiful beach and had a chance to take in what he was saying, see his facial expressions, think some unrelated thoughts about cooking dinner

I've never tiktoked but I think I get it now
