The career path posts reminds me of my most collectivist and also most nationalist take: bring back conscription a la post war Germany. Everyone, male and female should be required to do 2 years of civil or military service. All classes have skin in the game, eliminates the warrior class, war isn’t an abstraction, conscription is a deterrent for wanton reckless military action. Shared experience creates lifelong bonds and cohesion across race and sex.

I quiet like this take. Service as a way to increase skin in the game and feeling of national identity + increase awareness of the consequences of war. In to many places young people are pressured into starting a „career“ too early. This could take some steam out of that
