Every time I read a comment on X now, I wonder: is this AI?

Unless I know the poaster, I assume it is

That sucks. It’s a real, everyday reminder that we’ve entered a post-truth world

We no longer know who or what made the content we’re reacting to

AI can help us triangulate truth, and truth-finding protocols like Polymarket and futarchies may soften the blow

But the burden of discernment now falls on

you and I

How do you label AI assisted posts?  Where the idea might have been conceived by a human, but then it's run through an LLM for polish/ enhancement.

We can no longer verify sources or distinguish manipulated images/vids/content. Truth still exists but it's crowded out by noise...

So clearly the new tech can enhance legitimate information as well. What makes it post truth? The ability of the new tech to fabricate media we used to consider reliable sources (like writing, images, and video)?

Seems like a great use of AI imo. I do it all the time 😅
