we “lost” our toddler for ~3 minutes last night. some horrible and very long seconds. reminds me of something that i’ve learned since becoming husband and dad: you do not mess with a man’s wife or kids. it wakes something primal that can push even the mildest person to do horrible and cruel things.

Glad everyone is ok! I remember the feeling of being lost as a kid and it's the worst, can't imagine as parents!
