I walk down the highway barefoot. Hot asphalt, rocks, glass, could prob walk through fire at this point and I'll be ok.

The only thing I'm scared of is things falling on my toes (which shoes dont protect anyways) but I'm good with my cat like reflexes.

I lived at the beach one summer and developed my own hobbit feet and i think the realization of how vulnerable my feet now are is part of the uh oh feeling
