over the past couple months Moxie has made great strides towards becoming the economy of Farcaster - & we're just getting started

A core aspect of Moxie is: everyone wins together. Having a fan token means that every time you earn, your fans win

That's why we are implementing an important improvement on Wednesday 16 October, as heavily requested by Moxie users over the past months 

Going forward, once a user earns 100,000 MOXIE in their Lifetime ($250), they will be required to launch a Fan Token to continue earning. This ensure that everyone else can participate in your success.

In the coming days we'll also be announcing a series of measures to make Moxie better and better for strong contributors while weakening farmers

Starting tomorrow, if you’ve earned more than 100K in Moxie, you’ll be required to launch a fan token to continue earning.

This is an excellent idea. No reason to continue rewarding people who don’t even believe in the project.

Why don't they believe in the project? I'm the opposite, but I didn't launch my FT for the reason that no one will buy it, I'm not popular

I just invested my money, and it turns out that out of that 500 moxie today, I will still lose 20%.

Well, I don't like that.

well I have no choice, I started the auction and now I will spend money to buy as many of my FTs as possible

If you own a bunch of your fan token, you get it in the form of increased value for your FT. 

So that 20% could just go back to you if you own a majority of the fan token.

It’s ok. You make good visuals and content so you’ll keep earning moxie. It’s a marathon not a sprint.

but you know my situation, I'm online only 2-3 hours a day and not always, so I don't get huge moxie earnings.

I bet you’re wrong. People will buy it so that they can share in your earnings. I would buy it. :)

Lots of small accounts have done great with their fan token.
