not directed at me but imo the main advantages currently are a) building credit b) benefits/rewards from the card itself c) ability to have refunds etc.

i think stablecoins effectively can replace debit cards today but not yet credit cards

Got it! Thanks for the context! :) The idea was to let you spend your Farcaster rewards right away—no need to offramp or swap into tokens. Just buy books or groceries directly onchain.

For $10–100 rewards it might be better than offramping and using a CC.

A Farcaster wallet debit card would be awesome tho!

Yep exactly, all three of those points + expanding on the last one to include the protection that the credit cards themselves give me (loss, damage, theft, trip delay, etc.)
