Chopped has been a ballroom term for decades related to ugly / unattractive / a fail / doesn’t work, etc Ugly / unattractive chop (an ugly dress, an ugly face) A fail chop (a terrible walk, bad dance, etc) That then became used in other circles to mean ugly / bad But it’s been around a while.
