proof of social personhood (farcaster) > proof of biological organ (world) putting aside an ethical or political concerns, the problem with biological organ based proof is it can still be gamed anyway—the wallet could be sold, rented, used by a computer, etc proof of social personhood is fuzzier since it requires additional subjective judgement but the benefit is it's not really game-able in the same way because you're focused on the outputs not the inputs anyway. harvested credentials, p-zombies, AIs, etc all welcome... if you're casting bangers, using apps, transacting who cares

the subsequent conclusion is a rejection of trying to find a "proof of personhood" at all just a network of value exchange and the humanness of the users/stakeholders is secondary or even entirely irrelevant

this applies to digital networks tho it breaks when you cross over into the physical realm. like i'd still feel strange if i became an online mutual with an AI, wanted to link irl, and then discovered that they were a bot. in that sense, i do still care
