majority of crypto twitter does not care about decentralization, they care about making money

majority of people do not care about or for crypto

agree and just to clarify: "caring" about it is different than switching consumer preferences, but caring is an important starting point especially wrt awareness.

not unique to social content; people "care" about sustainable fashion, but still buy fast fashion out of convenience and price.

imo being pushed out of a centralized service is different from willingly switching over to a decentralized service *because it's decentralized*. my point was the latter form of behavior change is not something ppl will do en masse

not saying decentralization doesn't matter, just that i don't really buy that its a broader shift in consumer preferences (yet)
