Nice surprise by Ayuso. It seems like a fun Giro for us this year.

Yesterday, these two youngsters didn't face many challengers in the final race.
Maybe the closest was Egan Bernal, it was fantastic by the way, to see him back to his 2019/2021 form. Super happy for what he represents.
The silence of Roglič after the race... not sure if it was strategic or if he’s feeling something he doesn’t want to share. Either way, he’ll definitely fight!

agree on each point. I think roglič and his team miscalculated this strategic move to get the pink jersey off him. why are you doing this before such a stage, which you don't know what happens at all?

but also UAE, whats going on there? el toro pushes, but ayuso and/or yates should be the lead and priority for the GC. did they just think let him go, but not expecting such a lead or was this just a solo move due it was so chaotic stage? I'm totally confused about their tactics 🤌🏼

however, it's awesome to see bernal fighting like this, but still believe his good for 1-2 stage wins in the high mountains, but not more.
