Random thought of the day: I think the next vehicle I buy will be old, not new. My favorite vehicle was a 1988 Ford F150. That thing could handle anything and it just kept on going. And fixing it was actually possible! New cars are nearly impossible to fix on your own.

I had a f 150 in high school (reckon it was a late 80s model) that would shift out of park into reverse… once had to run down the driveway and hop in the moving truck while grabbing the mail.

Eventually had to shut the engine off to be safe 

Also wasn’t as pretty as all these and got like 10 miles to the gallon.

Did it have the online 6? Those engines were absolutely bulletproof, just like the rest of the truck.
