I totally get how you feel. I really don’t like talking on the phone either. My sister and I used to call it phone phobia.
There were times when I’d actually write down what I wanted to say on a piece of paper and read it while on the call.
I also kept telling the people around me, “Let’s talk over text. If something comes up, just leave a message.”
And I even had it written in my messenger profile: “I don’t usually answer calls, so please leave a text.”

Stay strong—hope it brings you a bit of comfort knowing there’s someone else out there who feels the same way.

Kid called multiple times asking to be picked up early from school. Unfortunately phone was on silent. They call but don’t leave a message. I’m left wondering if it’s urgent. In my head no message = not urgent.

Also Ikea called 3 times to confirm delivery. 

And I’m an introvert. Can we all just text plz?
