Spoke with a VC today who has made investments in early stage crypto, AI and fintech but had NEVER heard of @farcaster 😳

What do you make of this?

A) 🚩🚩🚩
B) we are still so early
C) need to amplify the narrative of FC being a hub of builder activity and the best user testing ground

I mean they rename farcaster so many times now. It's warpcast right now...

It's still early would give a pass. You can vet a bit more name drop Aerodrome and Moonwell if they haven't heard of either one run

I get that but to have never heard of it? I mean merkle has raised $$$$ from a16z so at the very least wouldn’t they be aware based simply on VC activity? It’s wild but also an important reminder that we are in an echo chamber.

as a VC I think likely a herd than a path finder. are they usually investors in social or interface products? as simply crypto native, not much. the most interesting conversations are still on CT. this is a great place for builders/artist to try new products but likely today not the place to scale your reach.
