Do you have strong feels about what the Optimism Superchain is missing and how we can improve it?

I'm on the Optimism Developer Advisory Board this season (independent elected group) and we're putting together grants to help advance the Superchain Ecosystem.

What kinds of things can we fund that would help induce or create the supply of missing aspects?

A doodler and computerer. I like permissive/permissionless open source, smart contracts, p2p systems, room-scale VR, and NixOS.

What's your impression of how expensive it is rn? How much cheaper does it need to be, relative to what?

It needs to be cheaper to run an L2 generally

i’m thinking that chainlink is preferred to redstone or others bc it’s the one you NEED to get to get listed or even considered in some cases

same thing for block explorers - yes, there are many OSS block explorers, but what traction do they have?

there needs to be a way to balance traction between monopolies and runner ups

any specific example? there's lots of alternative block explorers (many OSS!) and RPC providers, what's missing exactly?

Yea true. A lot of it is still in the pipeline but much of the benefit is getting these upgrades for "free" as they become available.

oh yeah that's what I mean! There's so much great work happening and it feels like attribution isn't being given (e.g. Flashblocks ~= Base in the public mind vs Superchain)

Honestly, I feel like I've been missing the pulse on Optimism and Superchain the last year+ 😭

I would personally love to see more "why Superchain?" in general. And any devx, tooling, etc around SuperchainERC20 could be a win in that direction

The cross chain intents on @velodrome creating cross chain swapping is gorgeous. Awe inspiring really. 

I think we need more apps to use velodrome like dex aggregators.

Interop is extremely complex and not fund to work with. Rather than the user having to take care of the bridging, the Superchain should just appear as one network, like Ethereum
