i think a big part of it is that we undervalue the power of sequencing in social platforms (ie. who controls the timeline algorithm).

it took us a long time to realize how powerful ordering and MEV can be, and quite a while to formalize it. need to apply some of these learnings to controlling peoples' social interactions and information diets.

Idea: Federate concepts, not content.

More and more of my deep discussions are happening in small 3-5 person chat groups on various apps. Sometimes different groups discuss similar topics, but often in different perspectives. I really like this aspect. If all the content was federated between my chat groups, it would ruin the divergence.

I imagine a future where discussions converge towards a byproduct artifact (a summary?) which can be "federated" out.

I also like the idea that no single person is attributed to the output, but it is owned collectively (and signed off on together).
