What do you think about this idea for more privacy in our messaging? 

Thinking about new ideas for Convos.org, our decentralized Signal. 

FaceID to open a convo, if it doesn’t detect your face or if someone looks over your shoulder and it detects 2 faces, it blurs the convo and requires FaceID again

Interesting idea, but I’d worry about friction. What if the blur triggers in low light or glitches during normal use? Maybe combine with a subtle gesture or pressure trigger to avoid false positives

My casts are immutable, but my opinions might get a soft fork… followed by @woj.eth 🎖️

This is only for off the record mode not every day chats. Special mode where all identity goes away, metadata, time stamps, status bar, everything. So even if it’s recorded or screenshots, nothing there but the text to see.
