First AR15 build is 99% complete, just need to add my Streamlight w/ pressure switch. Being in NY, obtaining an AR is cumbersome - most pre-built options are not compliant with state laws. In order to be compliant I built a "featureless" AR which is the only way to have a removable magazine - imperative for self-defense application. Who wants to be stuck disassembling the upper from lower and releasing the mag to reload while asking the intruder/attacker to hold on a min LOL. 

Still need to zero the optic, looking forward to when I've got time to go to the rifle range at the club.

I learned quite a bit during this process, and it's true - building AR's is pretty much like Legos for adults 😆

There's not many posting about it, but I had found the channel a little while ago. I think a lot of folks here might be anti-gun or at least not many have since it's mostly a USA thing.
